Sam guida
Dancer • Singer • Actor • Choreographer
Samuel Holtz Guida (He/Him) was born and raised in Rochester, New York. For those of you that don't know that is 6 hours from both New York City and Boston. Eagerly visiting his aunt that lived in NYC any chance he could, Sam was destined for city living.
Sam's first introduction to musical theatre was when his friend begged him to audition for Alice in Wonderland, Jr. He naturally auditioned for The Queen of Hearts, but stole the show as the one and only Doorknob. From that day on, he was a part of every show in school and any community production he could convince his parents to drive him too.
He found himself in the BFA Musical Theatre program at Emerson College with a minor in dance. Sam was fortunate enough to perform, choreograph, and direct for different theatre organizations at Emerson. He has a special interest in playing physically comedic characters as well as dance captaining which he has done 5 times at Emerson. For more details on his theatrical journey, checkout his resume.
